I was looking for a crate option that is taller than standard sizes. My pup full-grown will be tall and I don’t want him having to duck his head if he stands up. So far I love this crate. It is really big and that’s what I wanted. He likes to stretch out and he has plenty of room to do that. He will go lay inside on his own sometimes. So he approves! We didn’t need one for anxiety or anything. Simply wanted the extra space and also something that looks nicer than a traditional crate. I like that it sort looks like a house. It was very well packed on arrival and wasn’t too difficult to put together. But it does require 2 (or 3) people as the pieces are large and heavy. The directions were lacking instruction, only pictures. Took some thinking but we got it together. It’s super sturdy and looks nice.

Over the years, I have tried EVERYTHING out there for my 14 year old spaniel mix - various cones, sleeves, etc... This is the best. It's so soft, so light, allows her to drink and sleep comfortably. So thankful to have finally found something that works that is also comfy for her. She is 16 lbs. and her neck measured 11", the medium works - I just can't snap the tightest/smalled snap, but it stays on well regardless and is the perfect length to keep her from getting at her feet and legs.

no more destruction! my dog has major separation anxiety and has been tearing up our house. she has busted out of two wire crates we have bought her except this one. This kennel is as sturdy as a jail cell. Easy enough to put together. Over all of you have a strong dog that doesn't like a wire kennel, I would highly recommend giving this one a try.

Gentle Giant English Mastiff Puppy loves her palace. We installed a safety gate in less than 5 minutes to make it puppy size. She will grow into her crate quickly and didn’t want to change her special place in 6 months - so chose the size that suits her breed. She loves her crate, and we love its architectural style!

My corgi had a horrible neck injury. She got bit and ended up with antibiotic resistant bacteria inside the wound. Her skin around the bite died and she had to have surgery to remove all of the dead and infected tissue. With over 50 staples in her neck, we couldn't put her in a cone because it would rub on the staples. The donuts didn't work either. Some how I stumbled on this Victorian collar. It was the perfect answer. She wasn't restricted, couldn't scratch, and it didn't rub or leave her with hot spots. She had to be in this collar for nearly a month. It never bothered her.
Regarding size, you should definitely measure before you buy. The size we needed is not what I would have ordered if I hadn't taken measurements.
I can't recommend this product enough.

This crate/keelnnel is so wonderful. It’s heavy duty, comfortable, easy to move and keep clean, spacious, and allows my high anxiety the ability to feel integrated with my other dogs when I am away! Love and highly recommend.

Finn has an issue where he pulls out his own fur. We had a cone and for a 2 yr old he did not want to play. Now that we got him the watermelon, he RUNS and plays with his little friends!
Thank you!!!

This is definitely escape proof for my smart Houdini of a dog which she would chew through all of her kennels or somehow get the latch undone. She has severe separation anxiety when we’re not home and there have not been any escapes since!

Needed a crate that was taller so my 60lb dog could stand. But didn’t want to get a crate that was also extremely wide. The top of this crate was perfect. My dog also isn’t able to break out of this crate, which she has done before.

Our Charlene has allergies and anxiety and has been pulling her hair out. I bought this cone not only because it's mad cute, but also because it's not limiting whatsoever, not that Charlene would agree. She can still do everything and even gets a nice travel pillow for nap time. Cleans easily, simple design, big fan.

Very lightweight and my dog doesn't mind it all all. as soon as I put it on him he had no problem and was very comfortable with it! he walks, drinks, and eats just fine! overall great alternative highly recommend!

LOVE this crate for my 90 lb Rottweiler, the open top option is brilliant, not only for anxiety but to give bones & leash up prior to letting the dog out, also if someone wants to pet without having dog jump on them! Secure, peace of mind dog cannot escape. Highly recommend!

My girl cat doesn't mind wearing this cone at all. She can still eat and drink, but it keeps her from reaching her front paw surgical wound.
Product is soft, safe and great quality.

I needed something more comfortable than the plastic or cloth cones or the blow up donuts for my girl after she had to have a cyst removed on her side since she will be wearing it for awhile. This was perfect not only can she not get to the incision on her side but she always has a nice pillow to lay on! lol My golden is 60 lbs and she is wearing the 2XL which was just large enough that she couldn’t get to her side. It wipes clean easily too.

First, the downside: it runs small. I bought an XXL for our big dog (130-pound Anatolian pyrenees), and it's too small for his neck and doesn't have enough rings to prevent licking. However, it worked perfectly for my mixed breed when she got a hot spot on her face. She didn't mind wearing it; it prevented scratching, and she could play and move freely, unlike with the hard plastic cones.
I'm very happy with this collar, and it's a great solution for medium dogs. She didn't try to remove it and had no trouble eating, drinking, or moving through doors. I felt comfortable leaving her alone with this on, unlike with the plastic cone. It was extremely effective for her wound on the upper leg, and the vet was so impressed they took pictures and are considering selling it through their services.
